This is my new hat. It has inspired me to do some vintage looks with my hair to go with my obsession with the 1930's and 40s.
This was today's fun hairstyle. I tried really hard to do victory rolls but I think my hair is too layered. Or too fine. I did some pin curls and some volume. I liked it. It was very Mae west if I do say so myself.
It is thanksgiving and I have a butt-load to be thankful for starting with my family. Things haven't been exactly butterflies and rainbows over here the past few month, but today was absolutely delightful. So much good food and laughter. Laughter is so important in all facets of life.
Two dear friends of mine Ashton and John recently got engaged. I am so beyond thrilled for them. It all seems so magical. I really admire their relationship. They have dated long distance for 4 years now and they have remained still so in love and it is inspiring. They have such a strong relationship built on trust family and faith. It is beautiful and I can't wait to celebrate with them next winter.
I have my diet picked out for the new year and I'm really excited to work on it. I would like to lose 45 pounds over the next year. It may sound like a lot, but it is healthy I promise.
I am looking forward to what the weeks ahead have in store. And today I realized something. It is going to be ok. I should just let the stress go and know I'm going to be fine. No matter what.
